Warming temperatures through early next week

TONIGHT: Temperatures will drop to near 50 by morning under mostly clear skies and light winds.

SATURDAY: Patchy morning fog is possible with temperatures starting off cool but quickly rising into the 70s in the afternoon under sunny skies. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s with very light winds at 6 mph or less from the south.

EXTENDED: A southwesterly wind will increase to 10 mph Sunday afternoon warming us into the lower 80s under mostly sunny skies. The warming will continue into early next week with highs in the mid to upper 80s Monday and Tuesday. It’s possible we could see our first 90 degree day by next Monday in some locations. The humidity increases by early next week, giving us muggy nights with lows in the 60s. The next opportunity for rain and thunderstorms looks possible by next Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Medium and long range forecast models indicate a possible active pattern for the end of next week and into the following weekend. Please check for updates here and on ABC17 News.
