Search continues for missing man along Missouri River
The search for a missing man continued on the Missouri River this week.
Christopher Preuitt was reported missing in late March after his empty car was discovered southwest of Columbia near the river in Huntsdale.
On Thursday, Sgt. Scott White with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said seven boats went upstream during Troop F’s training from Jefferson City toward Huntsdale to search for Preuitt.
The patrol did not find anything, but plans to send someone Friday morning to search downstream toward Chamois.
