Amendment made in Cole County Knocker Ball case

An amendment has been filed for the Knocker Ball lawsuit after a man was paralyzed in December of 2016.

A Boone County man suffered severe injuries, including paralysis, after using the Knocker Ball product. According to the court documents, the man was not provided with proper instructions on how to use the Knocker Ball product.

Drew Boessen and Knockerball MidMo are the only remaining defendants in the case. Boessen was the employee involved in the incident. A separate lawsuit was filed with Knockerball USA, Zoom Sports Products and the Capital Mall as defendants on May 5.

ABC 17 News will continue to follow this case.
