One still in critical condition after two vehicle crash on highway 24

One person is still in critical condition after a vehicle crash on highway 24 in Randolph County on Thursday.

A 2014 Ford Fusion, holding a driver and three passengers, was stopped and trying to make a turn onto MO-3 when a 2014 Ford F150 hit the Fusion from behind. The F150 flipped and stopped on the highway. The Fusion went off the north side of the highway and landed in a field. The only person in the F150 was the driver.

One of the passengers in the Fusion was life-flighted to University Hospital and is still in critical condition. The other two passengers in the Fusion and the drivers of both vehicles suffered from moderate injuries.

Four of the five people involved in the accident were taken to University Hospital. The fifth person was taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center.
