Sunshine and a Breeze Friday

TODAY: After a chilly morning with temperatures dipping to the mid to low 40s, it will be a bright and sunny day with a breeze. Further east you head today, the wind will pick up . Winds will gust to 25 mph east of US 63. Look for a slight breeze west of US 63 with winds gusting under 20 mph. We’ll be 10 degrees better today with highs warming to the upper 60s.

TONIGHT: The winds become light by evening, it looks to be under 10 mph. It will be clear with temperatures in the low 50s.

EXTENDED: The weekend looks pleasant with mostly sunny skies and afternoon high temperatures in the low to mid 70s. A few more clouds move in Monday with a slight shower chance mainly east of HWY 63. Most areas will stay dry through Tuesday with a warming trend as high temperatures reach the low 80s Tuesday into Wednesday. There is a slight chance of showers and t-storms Wednesday but rain is more likely as we head into Thursday. A preliminary look at rain next week indicated 0.50″ to 1″ for next week.
