Mizzou WBB falls to Arkansas at home

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team lost to Arkansas at home on Sunday, despite leading by seven points at halftime. Arkansas pulled away in the second half to beat the Tigers 88-71.

The Razorbacks outscored the Tigers 54-30 in the final two quarters. Arkansas out-rebounded Mizzou 49-37 for the game.

Hayley Frank led the Tigers with 21 points and nine rebounds. Aijha Blackwell was held to just seven points on 2-for-9 shooting.

The Tigers are now 16-9 overall and 5-7 in the SEC.

Up next - Mizzou will play at No. 17 Georgia on Thursday at 6 p.m.
