AP source: Auburn to retain football coach Bryan Harsin

A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that Auburn is retaining coach Bryan Harsin after an investigation into his program. Harsin’s debut season ended with five straight losses. That was followed by heavy turnover among players and coaches. Auburn has lost 18 players and five assistant coaches in the aftermath of a 6-7 season. Auburn is still seeking an offensive coordinator.
