Tracking a cold weekend
TONIGHT
Showers will come to an end this evening and temperatures will begin to quickly fall. Expect temperatures to drop into the teens overnight, making for a bitter start early Saturday.
SATURDAY
With winds gusting up to 25 mph overnight, wind chills will hover in the single-digits through early Saturday. Skies will start cloudy, but begin to clear by the afternoon. Still, temperatures are stuck in the 20's all day. Overnight, winds shift more southerly ahead of a quickly approaching surface low. This keeps temperatures in the high teens and low 20's through Sunday morning.
EXTENDED
This wave brings a chance of flurries early in the day, but doesn’t appear to be an impactful system. Those flurries chances are moving east by mid-morning. North winds on the back side of the system will keep highs in the 30's on Sunday. More warmth moves in Monday, getting us into the upper 40’s. Temperatures reach the upper 50’s on Tuesday before rain chances return Wednesday. Even those won’t keep highs from threatening 60 on Wednesday.
