Mizzou women’s basketball falls on the road to No. 13 Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team could not get an upset done on the road against the No. 13 Tennessee Volunteers on Thursday. The Lady Vols took down the Tigers 76-62.

Lauren Hansen finished with a game-high 22 points for Mizzou. It is the fourth time this season that junior has had a more than 20 points game. Fellow junior Aijha Blackwell finished with her 18th double-double of the season, putting up 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Up next - the Tigers will return home to host the Arkansas Razorbacks on Feb. 13.
