Tracking a big warm up Tuesday afternoon

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and chilly with lows in the upper 20s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with gusty southwest winds. Highs in the lower to mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Patchy fog could settle in overnight with warmer air moving in by tomorrow, but strong winds should mix that out early on in the day tomorrow. Highs tomorrow make it to the low 50s despite the snow cover, but a weak cold front works in from the northwest tomorrow night, bringing a few more clouds and slightly cooler temperatures in the upper 40s on Wednesday. Thursday is a touch cooler in the lower 40s before we warm back into the low 50s Friday, but we may even see more clouds along with a sprinkle or two Friday afternoon ahead of a stronger cold front. That front moves through Friday night into Saturday, dropping us back into the low 20s in the morning and 30s in the afternoon. Super Bowl Sunday is looking dry with highs near 40 during the day. The trend looks a little warmer than average to start off next week.
