Columbia woman arrested for stealing from vehicles on I70 Drive

Boone County Sheriff Deputies were called to the 10000 Block of I70 Drive Northeast because of a vehicle theft on Thursday.

39-year-old Joyce Reynolds from California, Missouri had entered several parked vehicles and stolen various items.

When an owner of one of the vehicles confronted Joyce, she left the area on foot and walked to the 1200 block of Hays Lane and into a home that wasn’t hers. Joyce ran from the area on foot when Deputies arrived, but was eventually caught.

Reynolds was charged with second degree burglary, resisting arrest and two counts of stealing.
