SUNDAY UPDATES: Ten new COVID-19 related deaths added to state dashboard

The state now has a seven day positivity rate of 23.7% on Sunday. An additional 2,245 new COVID-19 cases were added bringing the total of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic is now 1,092,918.

There have also been 264,161 probable antigen test results being positive, with 192 added Sunday.

Ten new deaths was added. DHSS has recorded a total of 14,314 COVID-19 related deaths.

The state dashboard says new cases are down by 50.6% over the past seven days. The positivity rate decreased by 6.3% in that same time, while tests are down 36.2%. 

In the state's healthcare system, 3,101 people are dealing with COVID-19 infections. Of those, 645 are in the ICU and 17% of the ICU bed capacity remains open.

Sunday numbers show that 62.7% of Missouri residents have gotten at least one dose of coronavirus vaccine. For Missourians 18 and older that number is at 73.7% and 33.5% for those ages 5 to 17.

In total, 8,364,889 of the vaccine have been put into the arms of residents in the Show-Me State. In the past 7 days, the average daily doses given was 5,722.
