Emergency crews respond to central Columbia vehicle crash

ABC 17 News is working to confirm more details about crash that involved several vehicles in central Columbia Wednesday.

According to a text message alert issued by the Boone County Office of Emergency Management, crews responded to the crash at North Providence Road near Nebraska Avenue, shortly before 4:20 p.m.

ABC 17 News crews reported seeing several vehicles involved in the crash.

Rain was coming down in Columbia at the time of the crash, but it’s unclear if it played a role in the collision.
