TONIGHT: Expect scattered rain showers until late tonight with storms continuing to decay overnight. Additional rain accumulation could range from 1/10″ to small pockets up to 1/2″. Temperatures will be mild in the lowers 50s with light westerly winds up to 6 mph.
SUNDAY: Isolated rain showers are possible Sunday morning with cooler temperatures in the upper 40s. Less than 1/10″ of additional accumulation is expected with these light morning showers. Drier conditions will arrive in Mid-Missouri by the afternoon as temperatures rise into the lower 60s. Winds will remain light from the west up to 8 mph. By late Sunday night, another round of rain and potential thunderstorms will move into the southwestern edge of our viewing area leading to another rain chance overnight and continuing into Monday morning.
EXTENDED: Showers and thunderstorms are likely early Monday morning into the early afternoon. Accumulation could range from 1/4″ to 1″ with areas along I-70 receiving the best chance for additional accumulation. Monday night through Tuesday evening, we can expect drier conditions. Temperatures will remain seasonal with highs in the 60s and lows in the upper 40s for the entire week. The next round of active weather is possible starting Wednesday and continuing through Thursday.
