Camden County man shoots two dogs, kills one

Camden County Deputies responded to the Lake Hugo Apartments in Linn Creek because of reports of a physical altercation and shots fired.

Deputies met with the owner of two dogs that had been shot once the got to the scene. The younger of the two dogs had been shot twice and killed. The other dog, a black and tan, boxer/shepherd mix had also been shot, but ran off toward V Road.

The second dog’s whereabouts were unknown, but the dog has now been found, according to authorities.

Allegedly, another resident and Brandon Jensen confronted the owner of the dogs about vandalism to the resident’s truck tires, during which Jensen was carrying a firearm.

When the dogs ran out of the owner’s apartment, Jensen shot both animals. Jensen left the scene of the incident, leaving the other resident behind.

Jensen can’t have a gun due to his current probation status.

Jensen has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon and is being held in the Camden County Detention Center on a $2000 cash only bond.
