Police arrest two more people after fight at Columbia Eagle Stop

Columbia police arrested two more people in connection with a fight at the I-70 Eagle Stop on Providence Road in Columbia.

Officers said they arrested Ahmonta Marquise Harris, 25, and Aaron Harris, 24, in connection with Sunday morning’s fight. Police said officers saw both suspects fighting with other people in the Eagle Stop parking lot.

After officers used a Taser on two people to stop another fight, Ahmonta Harris approached an officer in a threatening manner and removed the probes from one of the people, police said.

Police said that when officers were taking another person into custody, Aaron Harris charged officers and tried to make contact with the person being arrested.

Police arrested Ahmonta and Aaron Harris Tuesday night at the Columbia Police Department for private peace disturbance, refusal to disperse and misdemeanor resisting or interfering with arrest.
