Spring begins with a very active weather pattern
Monday is the start of spring, and to no surprise that means a very active weather pattern in store for mid-Missouri. We will see a chance for rain showers every single day for this week. Tuesday morning into the afternoon is when we will see the next widespread chance of rain in mid-Missouri, thanks to an upper level disturbance. Tuesday evening the showers will begin to push off to southern portions leaving for a dry conditions by Wednesday afternoon.
After a slight break on Wednesday, the wet conditions will pick up for the second half of the work week. As a warm front lifts on Thursday we will see rainy conditions for Thursday morning into the afternoon. The warm front will be followed by a cold front Friday evening. This brings us the a chance for thunderstorms into Friday evening. The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team will continue to track this active weather pattern throughout the entire week keeping you updated on air and online.
