Warming Friday with possible showers
TONIGHT: Low clouds will increase tonight, and there is a chance for drizzle after midnight. It will be mild with lows in the upper 40s as a southerly breeze continues at 10-15 mph overnight.
FRIDAY: Light showers are possible in the morning, moving to near I-44 and ending by 2 PM. Under .10″ rain is expected and showers will be spotty. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 60s with southerly winds shifting to the north up to 15 mph. Friday evening looks pleasant with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the 50s through 11 PM. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 30s by Saturday morning.
EXTENDED: Heading into the weekend, after a cold morning, high temperatures will reach near 60 Saturday afternoon under mostly sunny skies with northerly winds up to 10 mph. There is a slight rain chance Sunday morning mainly south of I-70 with a few rumbles of thunder possible. It will be warmer with highs in the low to mid 60s Sunday as winds switch back to the south. By Sunday night and Monday morning the rain chance increases ahead of the next cold front to arrive by next Monday night. Thunderstorms can’t be ruled out Sunday night and heading into Monday morning. Temperatures will climb into the lower 70s Monday, cooling back into the 50s for next Tuesday and Wednesday.
