Four arrested in Maries County drug bust
Four people were arrested Friday night after the Maries County Sheriff’s Office and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group searched two homes in the 41000 block of County Road 604 after several months of investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office said authorities found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and loaded guns inside the two homes.
Three children were in one of the homes and were removed by the Department of Family Services.
Deputies arrested Michael Rice on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and child neglect.
Terra Hill was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Debbra Gieck was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Finally, deputies arrested Richard Daniels on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Geick was later released on her charges and Hill posted bail. Rice and Daniels are currently being held in the Maries County Jail without bail.
