Fulton chase leads to man’s arrest for stealing

A Kingdom City man was arrested after leading Fulton police on a brief chase Friday morning.

The incident started when police were called to the Westlakes on 2nd Street for an alleged theft.

As police were headed to the scene, the suspect left the store and drove on State Route O.

A brief chase ensued with the driver, Michael Fox, eventually stopping.

Fox was then taken into custody. According to police, stolen items from Westlakes were found in his possession.

He was arrested for stealing, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, and driving while suspended.

As of Friday evening, Fox had not been formally charged.
