Fulton man and Jefferson City woman arrested after six day manhunt

Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a follow-up on Thursday about a manhunt at a residence in the 3000 block of County Road 121, southeast of Kingdom City.

Deputies were looking for Travis Cooke, 30, of Fulton, who led deputies on a foot chase in the same area on March 3, resulting in a three hour manhunt. Deputies found Cooke hiding in the residence.

Cooke was wanted on a felony Warren County warrant for narcotics, in addition to a Callaway County charge of felony domestic assault from an incident that occurred near Fulton on Feb.y 22.

Cooke and Lorraine Atkins, 22, of Jefferson City, were taken into custody.

Atkins was at the residence at the time of Cooke’s arrest, and was arrested for felony hindering prosecution.

Cooke is being held on no bond, pending a judge bond setting, for the Warren County felony warrant and for the Callaway County charges of felony domestic assault and felony resisting arrest. Atkins is being held on $1,500 bond for felony hindering prosecution.
