Columbia MoDOT crews starts Enhanced Pothole Patrol

The Missouri Department of Transportation started their statewide Enhanced Pothole Patrol campaign on Monday, but the Columbia crew officially started Wednesday.

ABC 17 News crews rode with the MoDOT crew when they started fixing potholes.

MoDOT is still using the remainder of the winter mix, but crews plan to start using the summer mix within the month. The difference between the mixes are how it reacts to the warmer or colder temperatures.

Through the month of March drivers can call MoDOT’s customer service or go on their website to report a pothole. The goal for the maintenance and repairs crews is to fill the potholes within 24 hours of the report.

A report can be filed on MoDot’s website or through Customer Service at 1-888-275-6636.
