Charges dropped in Tessa Way theft case
Romell Dewayne Rainey has had prior burglary and armed criminal action charges dropped as of Feb. 24, 2017.
Rainey was wanted for a robbery with a gun in the 5000 block of Tessa Way on November 10, 2015.
The charges came from a report that a man was sleeping when Rainey broke in through a back door. The man tried to stop Rainey, and they got into a fight. Rainey then pointed a gun at the victim, and fled the area. A warrant was then issued for Rainey.
