Severe storm reports Monday night

A line of strong to severe storms moved through Mid-Missouri from 9 PM in our western counties to 1 AM near I-44. This line of storms moved close to 50 mph toward the east, producing damaging winds and some large hail. Here is a timeline of the storm reports:

9:30 PM: Green Ridge, Pettis Co: Power line down across HWY 127, 10 inch tree limb down in LaMonte

9:31 PM: Bevier: Quarter size hail

9:33 PM: 58 mph wind reported at Sedalia Airport

9:55 PM: Armstrong: Large limbs down across State Route H New Franklin: A Few Broken Residential Windows, Multiple Mailboxes And Road Signs Blown Over, A Wooden Gate Completely Shattered.

10:30 PM: Columbia: Parts Of Strip Mall Roof Blown Off Into Parking Lot. Intersection Of Vandiver And Providence

10:50 PM: Laurie: Tree landed on house on HWY 5 Rocky Mount: Reported At Oak Knoll Road, Rocky Mount, Mo Part Of Building On Road

10:45 PM: Fulton: One Inch Diameter Tree Limbs Blown Down

10:51 PM: Fulton: Quarter size hail

11:30 PM: Vichy: 56 mph wind gust

11:33 PM: Macks Creek: HWY W, Carports Damaged, Mobile Home Destroyed
