Residents and businesses in Perry County coming together to help storm damage

Local residents of Perry County in southeast Missouri came together Wednesday afternoon to help neighbors and help clean up damage. Two rounds of severe weather hit Perry County the first at 8PM Tuesday evening and again Wednesday morning at 4AM. Damaged is still being assessed in the Perryville area. Diane Brown said storms hit 2 miles north of her home. Here are some of her photos.

A local restaurant, Mary Janes, is giving out free lunches and any kind of drinks. The community center is collecting personal items. Proctor and Gamble is donating toiletries such as paper towels, toilet paper, and diapers.
