Emergency crews work motorcycle crash in south Columbia

UPDATE, 2/23: The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 32-year-old Ryan Miller was the driver of the motorcycle. He was thrown from the bike after hitting a culvert.

ORIGINAL 2/22: An investigation is underway after a crash that involved a motorcycle in south Columbia on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the City of Columbia’s Real-Time 911 Fire & Rescue Dispatch page, at least nine units were dispatched shortly before 6 p.m. to the 3500 block of Highway 163, near Rock Bridge Memorial State Park.

Emergency crews haven’t released the number of vehicles involved or if anyone was hurt.

ABC 17 News will update this story as soon as crash investigators release more details about what happened.
