Shower chance Thursday, gusty winds Friday

TONIGHT: We’ll have increasing clouds with light winds and low temperatures near 50 for another mild night. Patchy fog is possible but it won’t be widespread.

THURSDAY: There is a spot shower chance from mid-morning Thursday through early afternoon mainly north of I-70. Rain amounts will stay under a tenth of an inch and will be spotty. High temperatures will reach near 70 under mostly cloudy skies and easterly winds at 8-15 mph.

EXTENDED: As a cold front moves through Thursday night, a few showers are possible into early Friday morning. It will be much cooler and windy Friday with highs near 60, falling into the 50s and westerly winds gusting up to 35 mph. By Saturday morning flurries may be possible for those north of I-70 from 1AM through 6AM in the morning. The upcoming weekend looks to be more seasonal with temperatures returning to normal in the 40s Saturday and Sunday with cold nights in the upper 20s. We have a slight shower chance north of I-70 Sunday but a better chance of rain as we head into Monday. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
