Traffic Alert: Crash near Grindstone and Bluff Creek shutting down lanes of traffic
UPDATE 7:31am: Our ABC 17 News crew on scene says this wreck is causing a significant traffic back-up in the area.
They say officers are on scene directing traffic, but firefighters apparently have now left.
One vehicle apparently has visible damage on the front. ABC 17 News is still working to find out if anyone was hurt.
ORIGINAL: A crash was shutting down two lanes of traffic Wednesday morning in south Columbia.
Boone County EMA sent an alert about the wreck just after 7:00 Wednesday morning. It’s advising drivers use caution in the area.
Dispatch shows at least three emergency vehicles are responding to the crash.
ABC 17 News has a crew on the way to find out what caused the wreck, if anyone was hurt and when authorities expect to clear it.
