One dead after fatal crash in Callaway County
A 25-year-old Fulton man is dead after a fatal crash in Callaway County.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Highway 54 south, just past the Route H exit.
According to the crash report, a car driven by 46-year-old Kevin King sideswiped a car driven by 24-year-old Daniel Adams.
King’s car then went through the median and flipped. His passenger, 25-year-old Cory Barnes, died in the crash.
The crash report says he was pronounced dead on scene. Neither King, nor Barnes, were wearing seatbelts.
A trooper on scene told ABC 17 News that speed played a factor in the crash.
