Moberly man charged with statutory sodomy, child molestation
A Moberly man has been charged with first degree statutory sodomy and first degree child molestation.
Joseph Fowler was babysitting a 5-year-old child on Feb. 7 when the child’s father came home to find Fowler and his daughter in the living room, police said. The child was not clothed.
A forensic interview was conducted, and the child told authorities that Fowler played “doctor” with her. It was later discovered that Fowler had touched her inappropriately on three separate occasions, police said.
