Near record highs this weekend

TONIGHT: It will be mostly clear with more comfortable lows in the mid 40s. The southwest wind looks to stay steady at 8-11 mph overnight.

FRIDAY: We’ll have another mostly sunny, warm day with high temperatures reaching the low 70s and southwesterly winds at 8-15 mph.

EXTENDED: We will stay in a mild weather pattern through early next week with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s and nights in the 40s. The weekend looks warm and dry with high temperatures near 70 Saturday and lower 70s Sunday under partly cloudy skies. We will be close to tying the record high of 71 Saturday which was set back in 1930. Southerly winds will stay under 10 mph this weekend. The next chance for rain looks possible by Monday. Areas west of US 63 at this time, look to have the better chance for spotty rain under 0.10″. The mild weather lasts through most of next week but the weather pattern looks like it will change toward the end of February. There is a chance colder air will return for the first week of March.
