19-year-old arrested on drug possession charges after Boone County crash

A 19-year-old man is facing multiple drug charges after crashing his car in Boone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Adam Quinn after troopers say Quinn ran his car off the right side of the road Saturday afternoon.

Quinn was arrested for felony distribution of a controlled substance, felony possession of controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, minor in possession of alcohol, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

Troopers say he had 9 oz of Alprazolam bars (Xanax), 1 gram of molly and THC wax.

A trooper with the Missouri State Highway Patrol tells ABC 17 News that Quinn was not injured in the crash. He says further information is not available, as the investigation is ongoing.
