Friday February 10 Morning Weather
TODAY: It’ll start off cool with early morning temperatures in the upper 20s, to low 30 and wind chills in the mid 20s. We’ll warm quickly during the day with a southwest wind of 15-20 mph gusting to 30-33 mph at times. Temperatures will warm to near 50 by noon, and near 60-64 during the afternoon. Relative humidity looks to be rather low during the afternoon, outdoor burning is discouraged as rain has been scarce so far this year.
TONIGHT: It will be breezy for the evening commute south winds sustained near 10-15 mph. It looks to be mainly clear this evening to have a few hours to view the Penumbra Lunar Eclipse. Temperatures overnight look to remain well above normal only falling to 50 in spots south of I-70 and are north in the mid to upper 40s.
EXTENDED: There will increasing low clouds Saturday with high temperatures in the mid-upper 60s and southerly winds up to 10 mph. Light rain looks possible from 9AM through 3PM from HWY 50 and upwards to HWY 24. Areas north of I-70 look to have the better chance for an isolated shower. After a mild Saturday, it will be much cooler Sunday with high temperatures near 50 and northerly winds at 8-15 mph, gusting to 25 at times. Spotty showers are possible Sunday. Next week starts off quiet with high temperatures near 50 and nights dropping to near 30. We’ll be keeping an eye for possible rain returning on Tuesday of next week.
