Thursday February 9 Morning Weather
TODAY: It will be a cold morning with a north/northwest wind of 5-10 mph. A wind chill of 2-10 is possible for the morning commute, with lowest being north of I-70. By 8AM, wind chills look to reach the mid teens, followed by afternoon wind chills in the mid 20s. Mid level clouds this morning will also give way to afternoon sun.
TONIGHT: Scattered clouds are possible tonight with winds becoming southerly. Temperatures won’t be as frigid overnight with lows near 30-32.
EXTENDED: It start off cool Friday with early morning temperatures in the low 30s, with wind chills in the mid 20s. We’ll warm considerably quick during the day Friday with a south/southwest wind of 10-18 mph gusting to 30 mph at times. Temperatures will warm to the mid 40s by noon, and near 60-62 during the afternoon. There may be low clouds increasing on Saturday. Spotty drizzle is possible but most of the day looks fairly dry. Areas north of I-70 look to have the better chance for an isolated shower. After a mild Saturday, it looks to be much colder on Sunday. A cold front arrives on Sunday morning bringing descending temperatures and low clouds again. There is a chance the high on Sunday will occur early in the morning as temperatures will fall to the mid 40s in the morning. Clouds may keep highs from climbing back to the 50s in the afternoon.
