March for Life underway in Jefferson City

People started gathering for the Midwest March for Life in Jefferson City around 8 a.m. Saturday.

Many protesters, including some members of the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal organization, started walking almost a mile from the Selinger Center to the Capitol building around 10 a.m.

Ryan Bomberger, co-founder of the Radiance Foundation, and Dr. Vansen Wong, an OB-GYN from California, are scheduled to speak at the event.

Lunch is scheduled at noon.
