Friday, February 3 Afternoon Weather
TODAY: Another cold afternoon is in store for Mid-Missouri, as temperatures struggle to climb into the mid 30s. Winds will remain breezy out of the north under 10 mph, giving way to a wind chill in the 20s all day long. Bundle up if you have any plans that require you to be outside today.
TONIGHT: Clouds clear briefly this evening allowing temperatures to dip colder tonight to the upper teens and lower 20s. A wind chill in the teens also returns by 9PM.
EXTENDED: Saturday morning looks to be mostly sunny, while clouds will begin to increase during the day. The weekend is shaping up to be dry. High temperatures Saturday will range to the upper 30s north, to low 40s south. There is a slight chance of rain showers mainly north of I-70 in the afternoon but would be spotty and light. Temperatures will warm to near 50 on Sunday with clouds decreasing during the day. Our next chance of rain moves in Monday. There is a slight rain chance for those near the Lake of the Ozarks by mid morning. Rain looks to lift north during the day and becoming widely scattered. A few rumbles of thunder possible will be possible by evening. Mid week of next week will track cold again, possibly bringing the next arctic air and winter weather.
