Columbia man arrested for burglary after breaking into Aspen Heights apartment
On Thursday evening at 9:30 p.m., Columbia police officers were dispatched to a reported burglary in the 3600 block of Aspen Heights Parkway.
The female victim reported to the police that she received a text message from Randall saying that he was at her residence and was going to break in to retrieve property that he left there. The victim and Randall were in an intimate relationship. The female victim said that Randall sent her another text message saying that if she wasn’t home, he was going to kick in the door and “rob you straight up.”
The victim said that when she came home at 9:00 p.m., she discovered her front door was broken in and money missing from her purse, which was in her bedroom. The victim’s roommate said that she saw Randall riding his skateboard before 9:00 p.m. a couple of blocks away from their apartment.
The victim said that Randall’s skateboard was inside her apartment. Randall was arrested at 3000 Stadium Boulevard for burglary in the second degree.
