Rain and Wintry Mix Possible Saturday Evening
Saturday morning looks to be dry with sunshine briefly before clouds and light rain increase by evening. There does not appear to be much cold air aloft. This would indicate only a small chance of light snow to mix in by Saturday night. The onset of precipitation looks to be light rain by 3PM for those west of US 63. Temperatures at this time should be in the upper 30s, to low 40s. Rain amounts for most will be under .20″. Some areas could see less than .10″ of rain by Sunday morning. This wave looks to exit before 6AM but there could be slick spots as temperatures fall to near freezing by daybreak Sunday. Areas west of US 63 and north of I-70 will have the best chance for slick spots, closer to HWY 24 and HWY 36. Areas south of I-70 look to get all liquid. Any light snow that does mix in north, does not look to accumulate at this time. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
