Firefighters battle overnight house fire in central Columbia
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Columbia Fire Department responded to a house fire in central Columbia early Saturday morning.
A CFD spokesman said firefighters were called at about 2:15 a.m. to a two-story building with two apartment units on E. Burnham Road. They found heavy flame coming from a garage. The fire took about 20 minutes to put out, he said.
Four people were inside but were not injured.
The fire department tweeted photos from the scene around 3:40 a.m. showing flames coming from the home.
Information on what started the fire wasn't available Saturday morning.
