Versailles man hurt after rollover crash on Highway 5

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Versailles man was hurt on Wednesday afternoon after a rollover crash on Highway 5 near Laurie, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened just after 4:40 p.m. about a half-mile north of Millifork Lane.

According to the crash report, Andrew M. Martinez, 32, hit several embankments after he drove a car off of the side of the highway. Troopers said his car flipped over several times after the vehicle hit the embankments.

Emergency crews took Martinez by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach with serious injuries. A spokeswoman told ABC 17 News on Thursday morning he was treated and released.

Troopers said Martinez wasn't wearing a seat belt.
