Monday Evening, December 16

TONIGHT: Lingering showers are possible this evening mainly along and east of the Hwy 63 corridor. This showers are associated with a cold front that will track eastward through the evening. As the cold front sweeps through the region, temperatures will fall into the mid and upper 30s, with some patchy fog likely to develop by daybreak. Winds through the evening will remain under 15 mph out of the southwest.

TUESDAY: Watch out for patchy fog during your morning commute. Morning temperatures will be chilly in the mid to upper 30s. Although conditions will remain dry for Tuesday, skies will remain overcast with the high reaching the lower 40s. Conditions by the evening will slide to mid 30s with clouds beginning to break up overnight.

EXTENDED: We’ll want to watch for the potential for freezing fog on Wednesday morning as temperatures will dip to freezing in the early morning hours. Otherwise, this week looks mild temperatures in the 50s much of the week, and climbing to 60 by Friday. Another chance for rain will return by late Thursday evening into Friday morning.
