FRIDAY Morning Updated TIME LINE
Freezing rain has developed in southern Mid-Missouri and is lifting northeast quicker this morning. This line could move in near I-70 as early as 9AM-11AM. It will initially be light rain and the pavement will be wet, but it will quickly freeze on elevated surfaces. By mid morning a glaze of ice is very likely for those from I-70 and south. Where ice has been accruing since 3AM across I-44, there will be accumulated ice before 7AM. Dangerous travel conditions are in the forecast and if you must travel, do so with extreme caution.
