President Obama gives farewell speech

President Obama delivered his farewell speech in Chicago Tuesday night.

He assured America a peaceful transition of power. He also promised President-elect Donald Trump that his administration would ensure the smoothest possible transition, just like George W. Bush did for him.

“It’s up to all of us to make sure our government can help us meet the many challenges we still face,” said President Obama.

Donald Trump’s inauguration is next Friday, January 20.
