Driver hurt after crash in north Columbia parking lot
A woman was taken to a hospital after her vehicle hit a pole in the middle of a parking lot at a north Columbia fast-food restaurant Monday night.
Police told ABC 17 News the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. while the woman, who was driving, was taking a look at her food order.
Emergency crews transported the woman to the hospital for arm pain. A man who was a passenger in the vehicle wasn’t hurt.
It’s unclear if police issued any tickets or if they will pursue charges in the crash.
