Police investigating armed robbery at Break Time gas station in north Columbia

UPDATE: Police say the suspects got away with an unknown amount of money and ran northbound.

There were no reported injuries or property damage.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, and ask if anyone has any information regarding the incident to call the Columbia Police Department.

ORIGINAL: Columbia police confirm they’re investigating an armed robbery at a north Columbia gas station.

It happened around 1:45 Monday morning at the Break Time on Nebraska Avenue.

Police say details are limited because officers are still gathering information.

They say two suspects went into the store and displayed guns. They did not have any information yet on if the suspects got away with any money or property.

They say there was no chase involved, but did not say if they’ve made any arrests.

Police tell ABC 17 News they do not yet have a suspect description available to release. They say no one was hurt in the robbery.

Police say they’re still investigating the robbery.
