Tracking a warmup and a chance for rain
TONIGHT: Winds out of the south have begun to slowly warm us into the mid 20's. A south wind will serve as a double edged sword overnight, keeping temperatures from dropping much, but also adding a gnarly wind chill through early Saturday.
SATURDAY: Those winds will pick up our temperatures through Saturday afternoon. We likely return to low 40's for highs. Showers will begin to enter around late morning to midday. At the onset of precipitation, we will see a chance for freezing rain and or drizzle, but this risk should subside quickly as temperatures warm. As light as it’s expected to be and a decent wind keeping it off roads, no impacts are expected where we do see this scenario unfold.
EXTENDED: As this system pulls out, a few flurries will be possible Sunday morning, but again nothing impactful. Temperatures will back off into the 30’s for highs on Sunday. They’ll stay in the 30’s to start the week before hopping back into the upper 40’s to low 50’s for the rest of it.
