Four injured in downtown Columbia shooting on Saturday morning
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Columbia Police Department confirmed to ABC 17 News four people were shot outside the area of at Silverball Bar on Ninth Street in downtown Columbia on Saturday morning.
Police were called to the scene because of a fight and were seen investigating around 1 a.m.
On scene, police located four adult male victims who sustained non-life threatening injuries and who were transported to a local hospital.
It is not believed that shots were fired at officers, and officers did not fire their weapons.
Police told crews they do not have any suspects in connection with the shooting in custody at this time or any suspect information to share with the public.
CPD said they do not know what sparked the shooting at this time.
Police said they have at least one person in connection with a fight in the area in custody.
This is an ongoing investigation being handled by the department’s Criminal Investigations Division. More information may become available at a later time.
