Icy roads cause crash in Randolph County

A Moberly man was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries Saturday afternoon after troopers said he lost control of his car on an ice-covered road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Thomas Lee, 49, was driving east on Route B outside of Higbee when he drove off the road and hit an unoccupied car.

Lee was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

According to the crash report, he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
