Man is arrested for aggravated stalking, was hiding in victim’s backyard

Clint Casey was arrested on Monday at 202 Sieville Avenue for aggravated stalking with a bond of $20,000, property damage and stealing. The female victim has an order of protection against Clint Casey, which was served by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department on Nov. 13.

The victim reported she was being followed by Clint Casey from Route B and Brown Station Road. The victim drove from there to the Columbia Police Department. Officers went outside with the victim and saw a gray Chevy Equinox with New Mexico license plates, which was Casey.

The victim showed officers that Casey sent a plethora of emails and text messages to her, and said that she is extremely scared for her and her daughter. The victim reported that Casey asked a friend of his to talk to her about removing the order of protection, which would be an act against the order of protection.

The victim said that Casey stole her temporary license registration off of her vehicle, and gave it to the same friend to give back to her. She also told authorities that she has video evidence of Casey driving by her house and hiding in her back yard at night.

When officers arrived at 202 Sieville Avenue, Casey was returning to his apartment in a gray Chevy Equinox with New Mexico license plates. Casey was arrested. While in his cell after he was arrested, he carved on the holding cell door, causing property damage.
