Victim assaulted and robbed by same suspect within a week

On Monday afternoon at 3:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to an assault in Douglass Park located at 400 N. Providence Road. A white male was being assaulted by numerous black males. Joint Communications advised the victim was running from the park toward Lyon and Fifth Street.

Officers arrived on scene and located the victim sitting on the ground with his clothing disheveled and abrasions on his body. The male victim said that the main suspect was a black male with a cut over his eye and dreadlocks down to his ears. The victim told officers that he had been assaulted and robbed by the same suspect a week ago.

The victim said that during the robbery a week ago, he struck the suspect in defense and gave him the cut over his eye.

The victim said that today he was punched and kicked repeatedly by the suspects and chased from the park. The victim said his bank card had been taken from his pocket as well.

Officers located a male subject with a cut over his eye. The suspect, identified as Demarcos Rashawn Parker, was identified by the victim as the suspect that was the main instigator in the robbery. Fabian Goldman was with Parker when he was arrested. Goldman was searched and the victim’s bank card was recovered.
